Now this is what I call…

A salad.

In the South of France, salad is a meal not an accompaniment.

Too good to eat...See, this one has smoked salmon with fresh crab lurking underneath, two whole langoustine ( spot the eye of one) half a RIPE avacado,lettuce, tomato, grapefruit and the yellow lines speckled with black to the left of the plate, mango with poppy seeds.

Absolutely delicious and with a view of the Med, background chatter provided by a Hooray Henry, here and there, ridiculous grins supplied by attentive ( Madame is tout suele?) waiters. Life is as good as it gets.

Oh and just 14€. Twice my daily food budget but I will have baguette and ham tomorrow. Simples.
