Best advice,ever.

I did not know it at the time but my best friend’s mother, when I was at school in the 1960’s, gave me the best advice…ever. At the time it fed my rebellious streak. I was reading Jean-Paul Sartre. ‘Question everything.’ So I did.

She said: Take antibiotics and you will be better in 7 days. Don’t take antibiotics and you will be better in a week.

Of course I am going back to the days when antibiotics were given out like sweets… for a cold!

I know they have their place but now we are paying the price as they become less effective. 😦

Seems I was a rebel with a just cause. (Not gloating. Not nice.)
